Arnold Clavio Sinupalpal ng isang Manilla Bulletin Writer:“Sinungaling ka. You’re as fake as your hair”

Hindi napigilan ng Manila Bulletin writer at social media influencer na si Krizette Laureta Chu na rumesbak sa Instagram post ng newscaster at journalist na si Arnold Clavio.

Tinawag kasing “fake news” ni Clavio ang post ni Chu kung saan sinabi nitong nag-deactivate na umano ng social media accounts si Clavio.

Ayon sa post ni Chu, kaibigan mismo ni Clavio ang nagsabing wala na sa social media ang GMA Newscaster.

Dagdag ni Chu, si Clavio ang totoong fake news spreader dahil sa viral post nito kamakailan kung saan sinabi nitong may utos umano ang gobyerno sa Department of Health (DOH) na tigilan na ang pagbibilang sa mga namamatay dahil sa Cov1d-19.

Aniya, si Clavio ay isang sinungaling. 

“You’re the fake news spreader. You can’t even back up your info about the pile of dead bodies in the hallways of EAMC. Sinungaling ka,” sabi ni Chu.

“You’re as fake as your hair. And yes, you have no journalistic integrity,” dagdag nito.

Narito ang buong post ni Chu.

“Excuse you, Arnold Clavio. Before you say FAKE NEWS yung sinasabi namin na nawala ka sa social media, may pa post ka pa ng post ko, call out this “friend” of yours na NAGPAKALAT na wala ka na daw sa social media.

So ano? Sino source namin? E Di yang fellow journalist mo. So kung meron mang nagpapakalat na wala ka na sa social media, e Di itong KAIBIGAN MO. Kaya nga “apparently” ang ginamit na word because we based it on your friend’s POST. Your friend—whom you did not call out as fake.

HOW dare you call me FAKE NEWS when this info came from your friend.

You’re the fake news spreader. You can’t even back up your info about the pile of dead bodies in the hallways of EAMC. Sinungaling ka. There are no pile of dead bodies. There are bodies in the morgue of EAMC that have remained uncollected due to lack of funds of family members + fear of lack of knowledge of protocol in handling COVID 19 cadavers.

You are fear mongering at a time like this. You are a seasoned journalist and yet you did not even go to EAMC to doublecheck the veracity of the claims of your “three witnesses” not reach out to DOH nor the medical director of EAMC before you posted something that could have caused panic among the people of this country.

TAPOS AKO ANG FAKE NEWS DAHIL SABI KO WALA KA SA SOCIAL MEDIA? Aba? Bago mo ako sabihang fake news, sana sinabihan mo itong kaibigan mong may pa tribute sayo.

WAG AKO. Dont pretend to be this beacon of truth when you’re nothing but a has been who can’t be bothered to go out of his ivory tower to actually go plant some boots on the ground and VERIFY.

"May nagpadala lang po sa akin at ikinakalat na ang post na ito. Sorry to disappoint po. Hindi ko alam saan mo nakuha ang impormasyong ito. Mas madaling mang-intriga at magtago sa terminong ‘fake news’ kaysa sagutin ang inilatag na mga isyu. Nandito pa ako sa Instagram at walang planong umalis. Hanggang ngayon nga ay ‘disabled’ pa rin ang aking Facebook account at messenger. Salamat sa nagsumbong sa FB. 😊. I am a Journalist from mainstream media @gmanetwork at @dzbb594. Hindi ako nag-create lang ng account sa social media at bigla entitled nang pumuna o pumuri kung saan mas makikinabang.Titulado at may marangal na trabaho at regular na suweldo.
