Ang mga tropa ng 57th IB ay itinalaga sa nasabing lugar upang suportahan ang Interagency Task Force sa ipinatutupad na community quarantine sa lugar. Ikinalungkot naman ni AFP-Western Mindanao Command (Wesmincom) Chief Lt. Gen. Cirilito Sobejana ang pagkamatay ng dalawang sundalo sa desperadong pag-atake ng mga teroristang BIFF habang ginagawa lang ng nga sundalo ang kanilang tungkulin para mapigilan ang pagkalat ng COVID-19 sa bansa.
